How we check expiry dates
Expired goods can't be sold on Isrofsiz. Every date is checked by software and by a person, and at 23:59 the day before expiry the item disappears from the feed.

The seller photographs the date
No date photo — no listing. Buyers see the same photo on the product page.

Software reads the date
Recognition compares the date in the photo with the one the seller typed. If they differ, the item isn't published.

A moderator approves
A person from our team looks at the photo and approves or rejects the item.

At 23:59 the item is removed
The day before the date on the pack, the item automatically leaves the feed. It can no longer be bought.

Mystery shopper
Every month our team checks 10% of stores: we buy like a regular customer and compare the date on the pack with the site. Stores with complaints come first.
Sanctions
If a store breaks the rules:

Safety questions
Is this expired food?
No. We sell goods before their date: at 23:59 the day before the date on the pack, the item is automatically removed. Surprise boxes are fresh food made the same day.
What's the difference between “use by” and “best before”?
“Use by” is a safety limit — don't eat it afterwards; we remove such items the day before. “Best before” is about quality: taste and texture may change a little, but it's safe if stored properly.
How do I check an item at pickup?
Look at the date on the pack and that it's intact. Only give the pickup code after checking. If something's wrong, refuse — you get a full refund.
How do I report a store?
In the order, tap “Report” and attach a photo. A moderator answers within a day; if confirmed, you're refunded and the store is sanctioned.
Who's responsible for storage?
The store keeps the item properly until pickup (fridge items are marked). After that it's you: put dairy and ready meals in the fridge as soon as possible.
